About
Jessica has been tailoring clothes for the past 25 years. She started out mainly in the theater world, serving as costume director for Washington and Lee University’s theater department.
After 17 years she left Washington and Lee and switched to alterations. Currently specializing in bridal attire and formal wear for men and women.
Street wear alterations are available as time allows.
Appointments are available at the studio Thursday and Friday, with bridal appointments available Saturday as well.
“Come to you” appointments at your home or office in Lexington are available M/W/F. There is a $10 fee for this convenient option.
Pick ups are usually in Lexington M/W/F.
If your item does not require a fitting, i.e repairs, zipper replacement, simple hems that you can mark yourself….M/W/F drop off in Lexington Please text for details.
If you are having trouble finding a time that works please feel free to reach out.

Jessica is amazing. She tailored my dress and my husband's tux for our wedding in April. She worked very fast and made lots of adjustments that made our outfits comfortable and exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. My dress was not the highest quality, so it was a bit more challenging to work with, but she was able to make it fit very well and look beautiful. She even went above and beyond when there was a mishap at the dry cleaners with his tux jacket. We really appreciate all of her work!!
